When it comes to personal branding, I think – because my own experience has been – that a lot of the magic actually happens behind the scenes.  Because in order to figure out how you want to put yourself out there, you need to get some clarity on who “yourself” is.  (Even if what you’re putting out there, at least at first, is showing your work as you figure it out.)  

And that clarity is GOLD.  Because it gets you excited again about what you’re doing, the kind of people you want to work with, and what you have to offer them.  And THAT feeling, that excitement, THAT’s the magic.  It’s MAGNETIC.
